Las Vegas Shows Are Set To Return This Weekend!

It's been almost a year since the coronavirus shutdown began and the Las Vegas strip was quiet. Well, MGM Resorts is bringing back two shows this weekend. Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club, Carrot Top, and Thunder From Down Under are the first shows welcoming guests back, but the seating capacity will be adjusted under Nevada’s revised state guidelines. Then starting on March 21st, David Copperfield is bringing his show “Live The Impossible” back to the MGM Grand. According to MGM Resorts’ President of Entertainment and Sports, George Kliavkoff,

“Bringing entertainment back to the Las Vegas experience is key to our city’s recovery and we will work closely with our partners to do so, with the health and safety of our employees and guests as a priority."

Under these new guidelines, guests will have to be physically distanced between parties and a minimum of 25 feet from on-stage performers. MGM also announced that it will resume 24/7 hotel operations at Mandalay Bay, Park MGM and The Mirage resorts on March 3rd.
