If you're not a big football fan, one thing you probably look forward to when it comes to the Super Bowl are all of the commercials. Well, for the first time in 37 years, Budweiser and its Clydesdale horses will not be advertising during the Super Bowl this year. Budweiser has decided to take the money that would normally spend on the commercial slot, which is about $5.6 million, and instead support "critical Covid-19 vaccine awareness with donations and future ad campaigns." The coronavirus pandemic has forced Budweiser to rethink its marketing approach and they want to be proactive in promoting vaccine awareness. Some of Budweiser's planned advertising will be given the Ad Council and Covid Collaborative's Vaccine Education Initiative.
