Everytime we turn on the news, it seems like it's all about coronavirus and about the new cases that have been confirmed. Well, a maintenance worker at Disneyland Paris has tested positive for coronavirus. However, when you hear about this your first instinct is that the park will close, but that's not the case here. The theme park will remain open and hand sanitizer will be provided to guests. Park goers are told to just keep their distance in the queue for rides. As of right now, Disneyland staff is checking on colleagues who had been in contact with the infected worker, who tested positive over the weekend. According to BFMTV, Disneyland insists the infected worker works behind the scenes and was not in contact with park visitors. The employee was a night shift worker so he was never in contact with guests and he also had been on sick leave for several days before testing positive. According to Le Parisien, three people have been quarantined after apparently coming into contact with the worker. Tokyo and Shanghai Disneyland have been shut down due to virus fears and Walt Disney World in Florida is implementing 'preventive measures' like easy access to hand sanitizers.
