George Ezra joined Kevin Manno in the 1043MYfm studios to talk about his nominations at the 2019 Brit Awards, popular podcast 'George Ezra and Friends' and more!
When news broke of George's Brit nominations, he said he received a lot of congratulatory messages from friends.
"I can always gauge when somethings big when my friends actually bother to text to say 'congratulations.' Cause that doesn't always happen. And I got a lot of texts saying congratulations so that was kind of like 'oh'!"Ezra said his family usually finds out about these things from social media instead of him directly, which he often gets "told off" about.
When it comes to George's podcast 'George Ezra and Friends,' Kevin said "You connect with the fans and it seems almost effortless." The Shotgun singer said he enjoys doing it because it allows him to connect with other musicians about their art.
