A New Jersey man who lost his home and his jet ski six years ago in Superstorm Sandy finally moved back into his house, but his jet ski was still gone -- or so he thought.
Doug Ferrigno's house was destroyed in the storm, and it's taken him years to rebuild. He finally moved back in this past April. His jet ski, which he loved, was taken away by floodwaters and presumed gone forever. That is, until he received a call from the police telling him that his fun water craft had been found on a property six miles away.
Ferrigno thought the call was a prank until they confirmed the registration. He was finally reunited with the jet ski and was shocked that not only did it appear to be in perfect condition without even a scratch, it still had the key in the ignition. Even more shocking: It started right up on the first try.
