All Rise For Judge...Barbie?

Barbie is headed to court. Just in time for the holiday shopping season, the always popular Mattel doll is introducing a line of Judge Barbies.

Aspiring judges have an option of one of four dolls, each coming with a different skin tone and hair style, with all donning a classic black judge’s robe and gavel. They will sell for $12.99 and be available at Barbie.com, Target, Walmart and Amazon.

"Barbie has had over 200 careers," global head of Barbie Lisa McKnight tells "USA Today." "We like to say, 'There isn’t a plastic ceiling that Barbie hasn’t broken.'" She adds, “Our hope is that girls will enjoy playing with the dolls and imagine themselves protecting the rights of others.”

  • ONE MORE THING!Barbie is doing more than just creating dolls to help further girl power. Last year they launched the Barbie Dream Gap Project, and now they’ve teamed with GoFundMe to help raise money for girl empowerment programs. Money donated to theDream Gap Project Fundwill benefit three nonprofit organizations:She's The First,She Should RunandStep Up.
