A new poll conducted showed that most registered voters are unaware of what Democratic lawmakers are doing to oppose President Donald Trump's agenda.

The survey, which was conducted by Blueprint, polled 1,383 registered voters from February 16 to February 17 and found that 40% said the Democratic Party didn't have any strategy to respond to Trump, while 24% of respondents said the party did have a plan but it was ineffective and only 10% said it had a good strategy. Additionally, the survey showed a split among how Democrats should react with 30% claiming they "should resist Trump and work to stop his agenda; 30% saying "Democrats should work with Trump to implement his agenda"; 31% saying "Democrats should work with Trump when he's right but resist him when he's wrong"; and 10% responding with "not sure."

Trump's approval rating was reported to have stayed at 48%, according to the most recent Emerson College Polling survey, despite receiving more criticism for his handling of the war between Russia and Ukraine. The Emerson College survey showed that Trump retained the same approval rating since the national poll conducted on February 19, though his disapproval rating increased by one point to 43%.

Trump is, however, seeing less support for his handling of the war between Russia and Ukraine with a majority 44% of voters saying they disapprove, 41% saying they approve and 15% saying they're neutral.

“Perception of Trump’s handling of the Russia-Ukraine war reveals a stark partisan divide: 73% of Republicans approve of the President’s handling of the war, while 76% of Democrats disapprove,” said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling, said. “Independents are more divided, with 46% disapproving and 35% approving.”

Trump claimed that Zelensky was "gambling with World War III" during a back and forth exchange as the rare earth minerals deal the two world leaders were supposed to sign fell through when the Ukrainian president was asked to leave the White House. Trump later claimed Zelensky could come back "when he is ready for Peace" in a post shared on his Truth Social account.

“This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account Monday (March 3).
