A school in Philly is under fire after enforcing a rule forcing students to SMILE while in the hallways.
The Northern Lebanon School District says if kids do not smile in the hallways - they'll be forced to go speak with school offcials. Students say if they don't talk about their problems with counselors, they get detention.
Whether this is a rule set to combat the frequent school shootings issues - by enforcing the dialogue between "troubled" students and staff - is this really necessary?
What do you think?
One parent even got REALLY riled up - because she says there's way "more" going on behind the scenes at this school that others refuse to acknowledge.
Northern Lebanon School District students are required to smile while walking the hallways between classes, while bullying incidents are being ignored by administrators, according to some parents and teachers.https://t.co/kS2dEcM5CE @LDNews pic.twitter.com/WPXiIkSsZG— WITF news (@witfnews) May 16, 2018
