It's starting to sound like the Giants plan to keep quarterback Eli Manning around. According to ESPN, recently hired New York general manager Dave Gettleman wants to go forward with Manning starting. The report did say Gettleman will scout the 2018 QB draft class with the Giants having the number-two overall pick. Manning threw for 3,468 yards, 19 touchdowns and 13 interceptions this past season.
The Giants are also expected to make an announcement soon that Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur will be the team's new head coach.
