QUITE SNEAKY MTV is, huh? Monday night, after the premiere of Season 7 of Teen Mom OG, MTV forced their viewers to watch the following premiere of the trash bag that is "Floribama Shore" a mixture wannabe 'Jersey Shore' except with college aged students in Panama City Beach, Fla.
The network also sneakily stuck a huge announcement of a new show coming to MTV in 2018 - you guessed it! They're bringing back 'Jersey Shore'!
All cast mates except Sammi 'Sweetheart,' that is. There is no word why she didn't want to return, probably having to do with Ron.
Sammi Giancola currently hosts a podcast "Just Saying" on the Loud Speakers Network. Maybe she wanted to focus on this?
The new installment in Jersey Shore will air on MTV in 2018. There was no exact date given. If you're a fan of reality TV, you know all the cast members have been busy with other shows and endeavors. Vinny had a show on MTV for a short lived time. Pauly D is a resident DJ in Vegas. Mike has been featured on some VH1 Therapy shows, Jenni and Snooki are both proud moms now, as we saw in the show's only real spinoff. Deena just got married and Ronni was most recently on VH1's "Famously Single," where he found love with the Kardashian's best friend, Malika Haqq.
I'm pretty excited to see the gang back together. Just hope they haven't lost their spunk!
